Sunday evening I had the pleasure of spending some time with this beautiful family.  They’re here on vacation and wanted some family pictures by the beach.  As you can tell, it was pretty easy on my part because they’re a great looking family and super sweet.  When I first arrived at their vacation home, the rain was starting to set it so it looked like we might be rescheduling but the rain soon stopped and the skies started to clear making the conditions near perfect for a good family session.  You’ll see a few pictures here of a cat.  Well, this is not the family cat but instead a stray that seems to make friends with whoever is staying in the house.  They decided to call him “Red” and I thought it would be cute to include him in a few of the shots since he seems to have adopted them while they’re here on vacation.  Here’s a little sneak peek.

This afternoon I spent a few hours with baby Davis.  You may remember his mommy from a previous post.  Well, he’s finally here and exactly 12 days old today.  I could hardly wait to get home and edit his photos because he was such a good sport about his first modeling session.    :o)   I was lucky since he only did a peeps and poops once during the entire 2 hours which required a small timeout but other than that, it had to be one of the easiest newborn sessions I could ask for.  But seriously, I told his mommy that if these 2 hours are any indication of how he usually acts, then I think she’s got a smooth road ahead.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Here are a few images of a guest book/coffee table album that I ordered for Kim and Justin’s upcoming July wedding.  I used some of their favorite shots from their engagement session and put them in the book with plenty of blank pages for their guests to sign at the reception.

These books come in black or a picture can go on the front.  They can be used for any type of photo session and it’s an alternative to the more luxurious flush mount album.

I’m excited to share that my recent maternity session image was featured on The Maternal Lens.  It’s on the June 12th picture of the day so check it out.  I love to browse the site and see all of the cool photos that are selected so it’s definitely and honor to have one of my images chosen.     )

This weekend, I had the opportunity to do one of my favorite sessions to date.  This is my sister-in-law and she is carrying my soon to be nephew.  Yay!  

I had a lot of fun doing her session because as you can tell, the camera loves her so it made my part a whole lot easier.  We decided to throw in a family portrait also.  I had a hard time picking my favorites because all of them were so good.    :o)  Here’s a few to enjoy.
