Ponte Vedra Beach Family Photographer

I can’t believe I forgot to blog this session.  Earlier this spring I did a session for a super sweet family from out of state.  They were vacationing here and needed some pictures of the entire family together.  I don’t do a ton of family shoots but I really do enjoy them.  They had the cutest and friendliest kids.  We had a great time during the shoot.

My little graduate :o)

Everyone knows that I’m a really proud mommy of two boys.  I talk about my kids pretty often and they are a huge part of my and my husband’s lives.  Our kids are our source of entertainment.  Parenting is not easy but I love it and we are truly blessed to have healthy, happy kids.

My kids are like the shoemaker’s kids.  Even though I’m a photographer, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m lazy when it comes to taking pictures of them sometimes.  Yes, they get some pretty frequent “point and shoot” action.  However, to actually pull out the “big camera” as my son would say, it just doesn’t happen too often.

Friday night was an exception, my 5 year old graduated from Pre K.  This was a really big deal and I love how the school did the whole cap and gown ceremony thing over at UNF for them.  This was my son’s night to shine and the perfect opportunity for me to do some cap and gown pictures of him really good cap and gown pictures of him.

I love his pretty brown eyes.  Yay!  He got his diploma.  A little fun with the two of us in a mirrored door back stage I love you Chase and I love being your mommy!

Fernandina Beach Wedding Photographer | Tara & Lee are married!

Last month I shot the wedding of Tara and Lee at their church in Fernandina Beach.  They had a really sweet ceremony surrounded by lots of  family and friends.  Thanks Tara and Lee for having me shoot your wedding.  I had a lot of fun!

This day was a little different for me than most of the other weddings I’ve shot lately.  I’ll have to say that there were very few “posed” photographs.  It was a little refreshing to just let the day unfold organically and shoot what was happening in front of me rather than step in as I sometimes do and make suggestions.  I think it’s neat to see the final result and I’m really happy with it.  There’s always time for McDonalds before a wedding.  :o)
Tara and Lee gave each other letters before the wedding.  I love theses moments and it’s one of the things I love so much about shooting weddings.  Moments like this are what the wedding day is all about.Lee and his mom just before the ceremony.

One of my favorites from the night. And this one too.  You can see Tara’s parents in the background watching the first dance.  Such a great moment. The next few are definitely some of the best father daughter dance pictures.  I love how you can really get a feel for their emotion here.  So sweet.
Party time!Tara is so cute here!  They did the money dance and she had dollars all over her view and in her dress.   Best wishes Tara & Lee!

My first ever Boudoir Marathon!

A little over a month ago, I was approached by several clients about doing a boudoir session.  It’s something I’ve thought about but hadn’t received any interest for until now.  So when I got 3 different ladies within the same week ask about it, I knew it was time to make this happen.  It’s required some planning because I don’t ever like to move forward with something until I feel like it will run smoothly.

Wait no longer!  The time has come for me to announce my first ever Boudoir Marathon!  I am so excited about this and just know it will be a hit.  Due to the nature of the shoot, I am limiting this to no more than 7 openings which is why it’s being called a mini marathon.  It will be an all day event so contact me for your preferred time spot.  Privacy is one of my top priorities so if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me personally at 904.635.2276.

XOXO
