Palm Coast Wedding Photographer | Sarah & Josh are married!

A few weeks ago, I drove to Palm Coast to shoot a wedding for 2 people I’d never met before.  Sarah and Josh came in from Maryland, followed by family and friends to be a part of their intimate coastal ceremony.  Since they’re not locals, we didn’t have the opportunity to get acquainted before their wedding.  After the warm welcome I received from both Sarah & Josh and their families, I knew that this was going to be a beautiful wedding for two people very much in love.

I must confess, I was definitely a little sad at the end of the night knowing that my new friends would soon be going back to Maryland.  We parted with a hug and I told them that they couldn’t go back to Maryland because I just liked them waaaaaay too much for them to leave.

Thank you Sarah and Josh for trusting me to capture your beautiful wedding.  I am so happy for you both.  Best wishes and please keep in touch!

I love being able to catch those memorable expressions.  These two are a perfect match.  So much in love.    :o)
Thanks to the mystery lady and man who allowed me to boot them out of their beach chairs for the next shot.  You can’t come all the way from Maryland for a beach wedding and not do something like this!Their reception was on the Sundancer Yacht, which a part of Hammock Beach Resort.  It was very fun! Thanks to the captain for letting us grab a quick shot at the steering wheel.  A little cliche’ but still cute and an opportunity I couldn’t pass up since it was my first wedding reception on a boat.    :o)

St Augustine Wedding Photographer | Melissa & Josh | Engagement Session

I met up with Melissa and Josh for their St Augustine engagement session recently.  We decided it would be really cool to hit some of the important places that they went the night they got engaged.  Their wedding is next May and I’m super excited to be able to work with them.

I think we both knew at our first meeting that we were a good match.  It’s really important for me to work with couples who not only like my work but who also like me, as a person.  They are a great couple and we had so much fun during their shoot.  I love the way their images turned out.  It’s so sweet to see how in love they are and the way they interact with each other is so natural.  It definitely makes my job that much easier.

The Tini Martini Bar was our first stop.  It’s a really cool little place.  We also made a quick stop by the Columbia Restaurant.

Melissa has a gorgeous ring.  Josh has great taste.

The next one is probably one of my all time favorites.  Love it!

Palm Coast Wedding Photographer | Sarah & Josh | Sneak Peek

A little peek from the beautiful wedding I shot yesterday in Palm Coast.  Sarah & Josh, here’s little look before you go on your honeymoon.  Have a great time!

Friday Firemen

It’s been super busy around here lately and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down.  Not a bad problem to have and I’m loving every minute of it.

I’ve got some cool new blog posts coming this way in the next couple of weeks but in the mean time, since it’s Friday, I figured it would be a good time to share a neat shot I took recently while second shooting a wedding for my friend and fellow photographer, Lindsy Tropf with Pure. I’ll leave the main details to her but long story short, there was a fire at the Casa Monica hotel and the entire reception was rushed outside for about an hour.

I found myself with some free time and thought I’d try something a little different from any wedding I’ve ever shot . . . . . . . .

soooooooo for all of you ladies who’ve got a thing for a fireman in uniform, this is for you!

Happy Friday!

St Augustine Wedding Photographer | Kerrie & Daniel | Engagement Session

Last week, I met up with Kerrie and Daniel for their engagement session in San Marco.  It was actually our first time meeting even though they booked me in January to shoot their November wedding.  I was so excited to finally meet them face to face!  Let me just say, they were definitely worth the wait.  They are so cute !  Not to mention, extremely photogenic.  It totally made my part a lot easier.  We had a great time talking and shooting in various San Marco locations and we also took a short drive into downtown Jacksonville. I’m so excited about their wedding later this fall.  No doubt it will be full of great style and lots of fun. Kerrie and Daniel, thanks for having me document this special time in your relationship! XOXO Dana Kerrie has these amazing blue eyes.  Gorgeous! The next 6 images are courtesy of Bistro Aix in San Marco.  Thanks to Chris (the manager on duty when we stopped by) for allowing us to take some shots in the restaurant and bar!  You’re awesome!
