I loved this session with Colleen & Will!  We met for the first time for their engagement session and they thought it would be nice to shoot at Will’s parents house in Jacksonville.  I book a lot of couples without actually meeting in person so it’s kind of like opening a present when I finally get to meet them!  It’s great when couples incorporate personal touches and include their pets in their session so their two dogs joined us for a few shots.  They were an absolute pleasure to shoot and such naturals in front of the camera and I must say, the beautiful golden autumn light was a photographer’s dream!  I’m very excited to kick of my 2012 wedding season with their River House wedding in St Augustine.

It’s been great weather for beach sessions lately.  I met up with Jen & Adam last week in Jacksonville beach for their engagement session.  They are one of my 2012 couples and I can’t wait for their wedding at TPC.  Jen was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot last year so I’m happy to be able to work with her now!  She’s going to make a beautiful bride.  No doubt it will be a really fun wedding!   I loved their idea to start at the beach and we ended up at a local dock because they both enjoy fishing.  It’s great when couple incorporate those personal touches into their shoot.

Marcy & Nguyen made the drive up from Orlando to St Augustine to have their engagement session with me last week.  They are one of my 2012 couples and I’m really excited about their Hammock Beach Resort wedding being planned by April Dorsey of The D-Tales.  It’s apparent that they’ve got great chemistry between them which made them a joy to shoot.  Since they hadn’t been to St Augustine before, I enjoyed getting to know them better while showing them  around the city.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

I met up with Mallory & Richard in Fernandina Beach for their engagement session last week.  It was my first time meeting Richard and their cute dog.  It’s refreshing to change up the scenery and shoot somewhere a little different than St Augustine.  She brought along these really cute chalkboards so we used them to snap a few images that they will use for their “Save the Dates”, which are being made by the super talented Lara of Declaration Boutique and Events.

I’m very excited about their May wedding which is being planned by one of my favorite planners, The Big Event.

This fall has been an amazing wedding season!  Sharon & Sean’s  October wedding was no exception.  It was full of fun, great style and sophistication.  I loved the personal details incorporated into the day.  Their Catholic Mass at Immaculate Conception was beautiful, incorporating some of Sharon’s Filipino customs such as the Veil, Cord and Coin ceremonies.  This was followed by good food, fun and dancing at their reception.  They even had pictures of the pets they’ve owned over the years at each reception table.

It was a pleasure working with the ever so talented Heather of First Coast Weddings and Events, along with all of the other great vendors who helped make the day so awesome.  The day was beautiful and I’m so happy to have been a part of it all!
