Jacksonville Wedding Photographer | Molly & Michael are married!

I’m sharing the wedding of Molly & Michael.  This wedding was a little different for me to shoot than my usual.  Normally, I don’t have any previous relationships with my clients but in this case, I have known Molly and her wonderful family for many years, since I was in elementary school.  In fact, I used to babysit her and her brother on occasion so she has a very special place in my heart and it was an honor to document her and Michael’s wedding day.  She is as sweet as she is pretty and I am so happy for the beautiful young woman she has turned into and that she has found her perfect match in Michael.

Here are a few of my favorites from the day.  Enjoy!

Jacksonville Wedding Photographer | Farrell & Brian are engaged!

I had the best time with Farrell & Brian last weekend for their Riverside engagement session.  It was great to finally meet them in person and I loved their ideas for shooting locations.  They’ve both got a great sense of style and originality, which made them a lot of fun to shoot.  We started out at The Cummer, moved on to 5 Points and finished up at a local park.  Their Epping Forest wedding later this year is sure to be a hit and I’m so happy to be able to capture it for them.

Jacksonville Engagement Session | Farrell & Brian | Sneak Peek

Just a little peek from Farrell & Brian’s Riverside engagement session on Sunday.  Can’t wait to share the rest . . . . . . . . . lots more where this came from!

Jacksonville Wedding Photographer | Molly & Michael | Sneak Peek

I love moments like this one from Molly & Michael’s Riverside Baptist wedding on Saturday.  There’s something so special about that walk down the aisle as a newly pronounced man and wife.  More to follow soon on this wedding that is near and dear to my heart.

Jacksonville Bridal Photographer

I’ve been holding on to these images since December.   Colleen & Will’s fabulous River House wedding was last weekend (and there’s lots of delicious images to share from that very soon) which means I can finally share Colleen’s bridal session!

I love to shoot bridal sessions.  I really, really LOVE them!  It’s such a special time in a girl’s life and I think it’s completely appropriate to embrace every moment of being a bride.  All too often, the wedding day simply does not permit the chance to do a dedicated bridal shoot.  There’s usually a strict timeline, lots of hustle & bustle and to top it all of, wedding day jitters!  This is exactly why the bridal session is such a great idea for the bride to be.  The session is the perfect time to do a trial run for hair & makeup.  I always recommend professional hair and makeup for my brides so it’s good for them to see how they photograph, making sure it’s perfect for the big day.  Plus, it’s another excuse to put that gorgeous gown on and have some really beautiful, classy shots to capture a girl when she’s never looked or felt more beautiful.
