I met up with Allison & Justin in Middleburg for their engagement session recently. It was great meeting them for the first time and equally great to photograph them in a location that’s new to me and special to Allison. She brought along her adorable Doberman Remi for the shoot and her horse Sammy made an appearance as well. Animals at sessions always add a playful element to the pictures which I always love. We were blessed with beautiful evening light and I’m so glad I was able to spend some time getting to know them before their January wedding.
Great weather was in our favor for Amanda & Jonathan’s engagement session. I’m really happy to be able to work with them and know their TPC wedding will be nothing short of awesome. Amanda is a past bridesmaid from a wedding I shot a few years ago so I’m very excited that it’s her turn to be the bride. Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.
Cara & Lee made a visit to St Augustine for their engagement session recently and we lucked out with another beautiful day. They’ve actually been guests at 2 weddings I’ve photographed but this was our official first meeting. I couldn’t have been happier because they were so nice and I’m even more excited about their 2015 wedding.
We’ve been blessed with some really great weather and beautiful skies lately and this shoot was no exception. I met Lindsey & Ryan for the first time in Vilano Beach for their engagement session a couple of weeks ago. Because I don’t always have the opportunity to meet all of my couples before they’ve booked me, it’s nice when I do get to meet them in person before the big day. These two were even sweeter than I’d imagined and I love that they brought along their adorable puppy, Bo! I love dogs at engagement sessions because I think they’re one of the best props for a shoot but dogs also helps give my couples something fun to interact with. If you combine that with the amazing sunset we had, I’d say it was a perfect shoot. I’m very excited about their May wedding in Amelia Island.
