I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family recently during their visit to St Augustine. Hope and Joe are actually going to be renewing their wedding vows in 2011 so instead of the typical engagement session that I normally do before the wedding, we decided it would be a great time to do a family session in it’s place.

Let me say, this family has great style. I expected no less because after my talk with Hope about her design for her vow renewal ceremony, I knew that any idea she had would be stylish in every way.

It was a fun shoot and I had a great time getting to know them and their kids. I’ll look forward to seeing you all in January!

I can’t believe I forgot to blog this session. Earlier this spring I did a session for a super sweet family from out of state. They were vacationing here and needed some pictures of the entire family together. I don’t do a ton of family shoots but I really do enjoy them. They had the cutest and friendliest kids. We had a great time during the shoot.

I had the opportunity to photograph the most beautiful family yesterday in Ponte Vedra Beach. As I was working through the images, this one made me smile. Just thought I’d share.

A few weeks ago, I met up with Leslie and Shane at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park in Palm Coast. This session was especially important to the two of them. They will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary this year so it’s a really special time for them. I had so much fun with the two of them. It’s clear that they really enjoy being married to each other because they were fulle of laughs and smiles the entire time. They are a cute and sweet couple they were a pleasure to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Being the busy mom that I am, I’m not always as good at getting pictures of my kids as I should be. It’s a pretty lame excuse since their mom is a photographer but it’s just the facts. I made it a point (with a little push from my mom who’s been wanting updated pictures of her grandsons) to sit them down and get some pictures. Luckily I had my mom’s help and it was definitely needed. I now know why I don’t tackle this chore on my own more often.

I love being a mommy and I’m very blessed to have 2 beautiful, happy and healthy children. I often get asked if we’ll try for a girl and I quickly answer “no way”! I don’t mind at all being surrounded by testosterone in our house. I told my husband that one day we can get a girl dog and that’ll be just fine with me. Until then, it’s me and my 3 guys.
