Last month, I spent the day in Amelia Island photographing Laura and Lawson’s beautiful wedding. The ceremony and reception took place at Walkers Landing in Amelia Island Plantation. It had to be one of the hottest days of the year but it didn’t stop everyone from having a great time and celebrating the marriage of such a great couple.
Thank you Laura and Lawson for having me be a part of your special day. I had a great time!
XOXO

PS
This is a long post but I loved so many of their images so I had to share them.
I absolutely love her dress, shoes and jewelry!

Laura did a great job incorporating the yellow everywhere! Such a great summer color.
I love it when brides really take the time to put their personality into the wedding and reception details, truly making their day unique.

They had a beautiful interfaith ceremony.

The sunglasses were a really cute touch. Everyone loved them!

Laura even brought along a mixture of summer pillow so the outside guests could sit in comfort and style. Love it!
This band was AMAZING! These guys traveled all the way from Montgomery, Alabama! This reception was a blast!

Laura and her dad for the father-daughter dance.
Lawson and his mom for the mother-son dance.

I love to steal the couple for a few minutes during a reception. It gives them a chance to take a breather and I’m able to get some neat out door shots. I couldn’t pass up the colored canoes here.
One of my favorites from the entire evening!
Time to Par-Tay!!!!

This was such a fun crowd!

The lead singer gathered up all the guys, had them lay on the ground and hop on their backs. Since Laura and Lawson are from Georgia, it was time to “stomp the gators”!
This was definitely a first for me. :oD
Tambourine time!

I am in no way, shape or form a “baby photographer” but I gave it my all and under these really special circumstances, I was “baby photographer” for the day.
Not your typical “peaceful baby” poses but I still think they’re cute and some of my favorites.

Love this cute face!!!
