Tiffany & Nick are one of those special couples who I clicked with from day one.  I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I first met them to talk about their St Augustine wedding.  Sarah Grace from The Big Event was a great matchmaker on this one.  I have enjoyed getting to know them and I can honestly say that I felt like I was photographing the wedding of two friends.  They embraced me with open arms and trusted my artistic vision and I’m so happy for that.  As I’ve gone through their images over the last few weeks, it has reminded me how thankful I am for being able to do what I love and work with amazing people like Tiffany & Nick.

Thank you both for having me spend the day with you and allowing me into your lives.  I wish you many happy years together and I’ll look forward to seeing you again soon!

A couple of weeks ago, I woke up to the most amazing weather and beautiful blue skies.  It was a perfect day for Terri and Mike’s wedding day.  They had a very intimate and heartfelt ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica in St Augustine.  They were surrounded by a group of their closest family and friends.  After the ceremony, Mike and Terri allowed time in their schedule to walk around the historic district to get some great shots surrounded by the beautiful scenery that St Augustine has to offer.  The Flagler Ballroom at the beautiful Casa Monica was the reception site and it was the perfect spot for Terri and Mike to enjoy good food, dancing and spending time with their family and friends who traveled from all over to spend this day with them.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you Terri & Mike (and Oli) for allowing me into your lives and to be with you on your wedding day.

Thanks to the awesome Alida Perez, who did Terri’s makeup and Jamie Dougherty, who did her hair.  They are both part of Aura Salon and did an amazing job making the already beautiful Terri, even more beautiful.

The bouquets that 57 Treasury made are gorgeous!  Oli was so cute with his blue neck tie! 
Instead of grooms men, Mike opted to have longtime friends from Manila be his grooms women instead.  I love these delicate boutonniere’s that 57 Treasury put together for the ladies to wear with their super cute suits.  This next shot is dreamy and Terri looked amazing, as she did all day.  I didn’t realize it when I shot it but noticed as I was editing that Mike actually shows up in the reflection of the glass which made me love the image even more.  

Last week, I spent some time at the St Augustine Music Festival.  It was an entire week of amazing concerts and was held at the Basilica.  They asked me to come in and get some shots of the musicians before and during the concert.  I must say, it was quite refreshing to photograph something a little different than my usual weddings and portrait sessions.  Here are a few on my favorite shots.  Check out their Facebook page here for more information.

I have been looking forward to this wedding for quite some time.  You may remember Chris and Tia from their recent engagement session that took place in St Augustine.  Chris and Tia are one of those couples who just know is meant to be together.

Their wedding was short and sweet.  It took place at the Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine where they were surrounded by a small group of their closest family and friends.  The day ended with an intimate dinner at the Casa Monica.

For each wedding I shoot, I feel very honored to be such an important part of the day.  It’s hard to put into words but I love the warm and fuzzy feeling that I get as I’m looking through my camera lens and documenting one of the most important days these two individuals will have in their lives.

Thank you Tia and Chris for having me there on your wedding day.  From the small time I spent with your families, it’s no mystery to me how you both turned out so beautiful, inside and out.  I wish you both a long and happy marriage!
