My year of amazing weddings ended with Michelle & Josue’s Casa Monica wedding. I could not have asked for a better couple to end the year with. They planned a destination wedding and were joined by a small group of their closest family and friends. Their intimate ceremony was followed by a delicious dinner at 95 Cordova and everyone had a really great time. They topped off the night with a trolley ride in the nation’s oldest city. This was a perfect ending to my year and I can’t wait to see what 2013 holds. Here are just a few of my favorites from their day. Enjoy!

I loved everything about Antonia & John’s story. During their engagement session I learned that they actually met nearly 20 years ago in Egypt but drifted apart and went their separate ways. Thanks to the internet and social media, this October, they were finally married! I always enjoy hearing a great love story!
The Vilano Beach house Antonia got ready at was amazing with the most beautiful light for me to work with. One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is the “getting ready” time I get to spend with the bride and watch the transformation take place while she’s in hair and makeup. It’s nice to connect and document the time before the big walk down the aisle. Antonia is beautiful and has a great sense of style. I loved her decor selection for their Casa Monica reception because it blended perfectly with the rich tones in the hotel’s existing color scheme. Their closest family and friends traveled to our Nation’s oldest city to be with them and enjoy their special day together and enjoyed a really great party. Antonia’s sister and John’s brother gave the sweetest speeches during the toast. It always warms my heart to see the love that the families have for the new bride and groom.
Thank you both for having allowing me to capture your day!
XOXO

Tiffany & Nick are one of those special couples who I clicked with from day one. I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I first met them to talk about their St Augustine wedding. Sarah Grace from The Big Event was a great matchmaker on this one. I have enjoyed getting to know them and I can honestly say that I felt like I was photographing the wedding of two friends. They embraced me with open arms and trusted my artistic vision and I’m so happy for that. As I’ve gone through their images over the last few weeks, it has reminded me how thankful I am for being able to do what I love and work with amazing people like Tiffany & Nick.
Thank you both for having me spend the day with you and allowing me into your lives. I wish you many happy years together and I’ll look forward to seeing you again soon!
XOXO

I am beyond happy to finally be able to blog about Jenna & Scott’s incredible Casa Monica New Year’s Eve wedding which is featured in the Fall edition of the magazine, Destination I Do! It’s been under wraps since February but now that the magazine hits news stand today, I can finally share it!
It’s part of a feature called, What You Get for the Money. Jenna & Scott’s wedding along with several other weddings are highlighted as they explain why they chose to wed in locations away from their homes. I often work with destination couples who choose to come to the Nation’s Oldest City for their nuptials so it’s very exciting to see St Augustine be a part of such a beautiful publication.
If you’re a bride who’s planning a destination wedding, this magazine is a must have! Run out to your local news stand or Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy today.
