It seemed like it had been forever since Antoina & John booked me for their wedding! Actually was about a year ago so I was really excited to finally meet the two of them for the first time. Their St Augustine wedding is coming up next month so felt like the natural choice to also shoot their engagement session in the Nation’s Oldest City. They are such a sweet couple, both with the warmest dispositions and I’m very happy to be able to work with them both.

Allie & Scott are one of my 2012 wedding couples and it was great to finally meet them for the first time at their St Augustine engagement session. Since we met pretty early in the morning, it seemed like we had the entire city to ourselves, which was perfect! Again, it seems like I always luck out with the cutest, sweetest couples and these two are no exception. I can’t wait for these high school sweet hearts River House wedding next year! 
Tiffany & Nick are one of my 2011 couples and I am so happy to work with them! Thanks to their wedding planner, Sarah Grace with The Big Event, for setting us up with each other! I love working with Sarah so when you combine an awesome planner with awesome clients, it’s always a great experience for me.
For their engagement session, we decided that Gainesville would be a great spot to shoot. I love Gainesville so any opportunity I get to go there is always fun for me, especially when I get to hang out with such a great couple.

Typically, I’ll shoot the engagement session anywhere from 1 year to 3 months before the wedding. Since Jenna and Scott live out of town, it was impossible to do their shoot anytime other than the week of the wedding, so that’s what we did. I always enjoy the time I get to spend with my couples before their big day because not only is the shoot fun, it allows us the opportunity to work with each other in a laid back setting prior to the wedding day. Next to getting beautiful pictures, making my couples feel totally comfortable with me is a top priority. Here’s a few of my favorites!

I met up with Mary Lynn & Dave last weekend for their St Augustine engagement session. I’d previously met them at our initial consultation earlier in the summer so it was nice to spend some more time getting to know them a little better before their February wedding.
