Here are a few of my favorites from Catherine & Adam’s St Augustine engagement session. They were such good sports about meeting me so early in the morning and I’m glad they were because it was nice to feel like we had the city to ourselves. I’m really excited about their January wedding!

Whitney & Genesis are one of my 2012 wedding couples and I just love them to pieces. I love it when that instant chemistry and trust is there between myself and my couples. We met up bright and early one morning for their St Augustine engagement session. If you’ve been to downtown St Augustine, it’s almost always full of crowds so the only way around it, is to shoot very early in the morning. I’m glad they were good sports about it and we enjoyed having the city to ourselves.

I always love hearing how couples get engaged. During my shoot with Kira and Mike, they gave me a reenactment of how he surprised her on San Marco Avenue, near the fort, while Kira was walking down the road with her girlfriend. She had no idea that he made a surprise trip home to propose! It was really sweet and I had a great time with them. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Tiffany & Nick are one of those special couples who I clicked with from day one. I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I first met them to talk about their St Augustine wedding. Sarah Grace from The Big Event was a great matchmaker on this one. I have enjoyed getting to know them and I can honestly say that I felt like I was photographing the wedding of two friends. They embraced me with open arms and trusted my artistic vision and I’m so happy for that. As I’ve gone through their images over the last few weeks, it has reminded me how thankful I am for being able to do what I love and work with amazing people like Tiffany & Nick.
