Marcy & Nguyen made the drive up from Orlando to St Augustine to have their engagement session with me last week.  They are one of my 2012 couples and I’m really excited about their Hammock Beach Resort wedding being planned by April Dorsey of The D-Tales.  It’s apparent that they’ve got great chemistry between them which made them a joy to shoot.  Since they hadn’t been to St Augustine before, I enjoyed getting to know them better while showing them  around the city.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Typically, I’ll shoot the engagement session anywhere from 1 year to 3 months before the wedding.  Since Jenna and Scott live out of town, it was impossible to do their shoot anytime other than the week of the wedding, so that’s what we did.  I always enjoy the time I get to spend with my couples before their big day because not only is the shoot fun, it allows us the opportunity to work with each other in a laid back setting prior to the wedding day.  Next to getting beautiful pictures, making my couples feel totally comfortable with me is a top priority.  Here’s a few of my favorites!

Sarah and Seth drove down to St Augustine for their engagement session with me last Sunday morning.  We’ve chatted back and forth through email and phone calls for a while so it was nice to finally meet them in person!  Enjoy your pictures!

I had a great time in St Augustine last night with Kaley and Micah for their engagement session.  They were in town from Tallahassee for the weekend so we met up to do their shoot.  I wanted to put up a sneak peek for them before I head out to today’s wedding in Ponte Vedra.  More on the way soon. . . .
